A teaching colleague sent me this anti-bullying exercise this morning, which I thought was very powerful!
It has inspired me to start brain storming lots of tpet anti-bullying display resources and activities for my SEAL/PHSE collection.
If you have any suggestions or requests, let me know.
After sharing this on our Teacher’s Pet Facebook page, we also had a lot of people taking about a similar exercise using heart shaped pieces of paper called ‘wrinkled hearts’ – you can read more about this here wrinkled heart project
The chant that supports this is: Before you speak, think and be smart, it’s hard to fix a wrinkled heart.
Very powerful stuff. We has so much feedback from teachers saying that they had tried this and found it to be extremely effective, even with older children. Worth a try?
